The Journey Called Friendship!!

Friend, Dost, Saala, Amigo etc etc....! The only eternal relationship is FRIENDSHIP!! Friends are an integral part of our lives.. they are more like a family to us!! Our partners in crime..our mentors, teachers, advisers and what not!?!? They teach us the true meaning of life and things that we are not even aware of! In-fact our virginity of innocence is lost due to them ;) !!

From helping one another in exams to helping each other find the love of their lives!

From hiding ugly secrets from parents to publicly embarrassing us!
From surprising us to being the reason for depression!
From sharing Tees' to fighting for the same watch!
From liking the same person to bitching about the same person!
From fighting for no reason to consoling each other for so many reasons!
From clicking Selfies to deleting them!
From late night talks to chatting!
From shopping to playing video games!
From watching a romantic movie to a Horror flick!
From bunking classes to giving proxies!
From getting notes xeroxed to end up not reading them!
From teasing one another with wired names to pairing up with people whom we never know!
Friends have always been there ^_^  Parents and teachers' scoldings seem tiny with regard to friends' life          saving advises. When parents didn't allow us to go on school picnics/trips friends were there to ask permission on behalf of us as parents always feel that our friends are more mature and responsible than us for they trust them more! (little do they know about their naughtiness! :p) All of us giving the excuse of group studies go out for movies or just hang out at some eateries or go on a bike ride.. but with whom?? FRIENDS :D !! Who else would make our birthdays memorable?? Remember those Birthday bumps?? Ain't it true that friends are friends are an essential part of all of our lives?? All said and done at the end of the day that one phone call to describe the amazing/awful experiences of the day is just satisfactory ^_^  A friend is that person whom we depend emotionally because eventually they are the ones who understand us and accept us the way we are.... there is no place for any complexes or fear....we can express what we want to without filtering our thoughts like we filter pics!! Friendship has all the essence of life and is truly an amazing experience!!

SEX!?!?!...Shush.....Oops...Sorry!

Disclaimer: The following content is about "THE GREAT INDIAN TABOOS". It is not to offend anyone, but if offended I don't give a damn! :)

Being a girl in India is very difficult for you have to listen to a variety of comments from either known or unknown. I'm not trying to be a feminist by saying so!From the age she hits Puberty...gosh that embarrassing Puberty Function..!! The real problem is when you go to a chemist and ask for a sanitary napkin.. they first wrap it in a newspaper then in put it in an black polythene.. what is so embarrassing in carrying a sanitary napkin?? Is is a crime that we girls/women have committed?? Ain't it just natural hormonal changes that occurs in our body?? The restrictions imposed on girls/women on those 3-5 days of the month..!! "Don't go to the temple", "Don't eat pickles" etc etc..  Intolerable!! Not to forget it happens only in homes where orthodox elders reside.

Talking about their stereotype mindset I just wondered how many of the elders either at home or at school have ever spoken about SEX?? "The Greatest Taboo Of Our Country"!! Though many measures were taken to implement sex education as a compulsory subject, the Govt had banned it thinking that it would spoil the minds of the young generation!! We were just told about bees and birds and if we ever had a proper sex edu. it either in 6th/7th Grade when we never understood the meaning of the over-rated terms (at least most of us never understood). Didn't most of us have this thought when we were young that "If our parents never fought God would gift them with a baby!" or "If our parents cuddle/kiss a baby would be born"?? Well I did think so! But my mom gave me a book which was supposed to be a completed guide about the hormonal and physical changes a girl would undergo once her menstrual cycles begins!! But again those medical terms never were understood by me..!! But all thanks to Google,Youtube and off course my friends to educate me on these things!! Many of us would have at some point or the other googled about sex and related things right? When I was in 9th grade a friend of mine told me about a porn site and asked me NOT to ever watch it!! But as a sheer teenager of 14 years out of curiosity i did watch it!!(Never have i watched porn again till date!!!) But it did clear some of my doubts which elders were hesitant to clear (because they thought i was too young to know all that, and also i was distracting myself!!). But just think when parents or elders in general neglect such sensitive issues like these, then youngsters tend to get addicted to things like porn.. may be out off curiosity or for pleasure and when they find out about their child's addiction they make a fuss!. So it's high time we broaden up our minds and accepts things the way they are..over exaggeration isn't required!!
